Data Protection Officer

Since we are a small company, of which the core activities does not consist of processing personal data, we are not obligated to have a Data Protection Officer.

Since we take privacy very serious here, we did appoint a Privacy Officer within HAJECO.

This privacy notice applies to all data processing activities executed by HAJECO and all personal data collected by HAJECO. These concerns: customer data, details of prospects, applicants, subscribers to the newsletter, suppliers and participants of events.

We will always process personal information based on a legal obligation, contract or given consent.

HAJECO collects 3 types of personal data:

Purposes:

· To communicate with you, our customer, supplier, applicant or prospect;

· To deliver our services;

· To sell you a product or service;

· To send you a newsletter;

· To ask for your feedback;

· To keep you posted about events we organize and you might be interested in;

· To contact you for a job interview when you apply for a job at HAJECO.

If you contact us through our website to apply for employment opportunities with HAJECO, we may collect and store the personal data that you provide for recruiting purposes. We may ask you for information necessary for the recruiting process such as your name, contact information and technical experience. We may also process your personal data if we are required to do by law or legal process. However, before you can submit your CV/Resume, you may be required to consent to the following conditions respecting the use of your CV/Resume by HAJECO:

• HAJECO, its affiliates, and agents will      store, access, and use the information in any jurisdiction, including      jurisdictions whose privacy laws may be different and less protective than      those of your home jurisdiction; and
• HAJECO, its affiliates and agents, may      use this information to evaluate your eligibility for employment and to      contact you for recruiting purposes.

Please note that people under 18 years old are not authorized to submit recruiting information on our website.

• Targeted Emails -- We send emails to      individuals with whom we want to develop or maintain a relationship. Our      targeted email messages typically include cookies and similar technologies      that allow us to know whether you open, read, or delete the message, and      links you may click. When you click a link in an email you receive from HAJECO,      we will also use a cookie to log what pages you view and what content you      download from our websites, even if you are not registered at or signed      into our site.
• Combining and Analyzing Personal Data --      We may combine personal data from publicly available sources, and from our      email, website, and personal interactions with you. We combine this      personal data to better assess the suitability of our employment opportunities      with your qualifications, to send you relevant information about careers      and opportunities at HAJECO, and to analyze the effectiveness of our      recruitment efforts and resources.

Purpose:

· Sometimes we organize events which you can join together with your partner or children

· Sometimes, when providing a service for your company, consultants will come across personal data as well. We don’t store this data within the HAJECO network.

HAJECO websites may provide links to third-party websites. HAJECO does not make any representations or warranties with respect to such third-party websites. You should be aware that the owners and operators of such third-party websites might collect, use or transfer Personal Data under different terms and conditions than HAJECO. Upon linking to a third-party website, you should inform yourself of the privacy policies of such third-party websites.

HAJECO protects the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your Personal Data. We use various technological and procedural security measures in order to protect your Personal Data from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction.

We do not process your Personal Data any longer than is necessary for the purposes set forth in this Policy. We keep your data as long as you’re an active contact (customer, lead, …) and actively delete your data three years after once you become an inactive contact, met with the exception of data for which statutory retention periods have been set.

HAJECO stores most data locally. We only transfer data towards the following categories of processors and third parties:

· Governments

· HR processors

· Mailchimp

· Godaddy

We shall store the Personal Data as much as possible within the European Union, however, at this moment we have two partners outside the European Union, our partners MailChimp and GoDaddy are based in the USA. The data transfer to Mailchimp and GoDaddy are legalized by the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework.

We will not sell personal data to third parties. We generally only share personal data with our contracted service providers and advisors. However, there will be other times when we need to share or disclose personal data you provide for a specific purpose. For example:

• We may need to disclose your personal      data to third parties if we sell or liquidate any part of our business or      assets. Clients’ personal data can be one of the transferred business      assets in such circumstances.
• We may need to disclose or share your      personal data to comply with a legal obligation, or to enforce or apply      our Terms of Use; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of HAJECO,      our clients, or others.

We also may provide aggregate, non-personally identifiable data (“Aggregate Information”) to third parties, including information about your access and use of the website. For example, we might provide such Aggregate Information to a third party to inform the party of the number of users of the site and the activities that they conduct while on the site.

If and to the extent provided under applicable Belgian and European law, you shall have the right:

1. to obtain from HAJECO confirmation as to      whether or not your Personal Data are being processed and, where that is      the case, you shall have the right to access such Personal Data being      processed;
2. to obtain from HAJECO, without undue      delay, the rectification of inaccurate Personal Data and to have      incomplete Personal Data completed;
3. to obtain from HAJECO the erasure of      Personal Data;
4. to obtain from HAJECO the restriction of      processing your Personal Data;
5. to receive the Personal Data in a      structured and commonly used, machine-readable format and have such      Personal Data transmitted;
6. to object to processing of your Personal      Data and to object at any time to the processing of your Personal Data for      direct marketing purposes.

For our website, we use different kind of cookies:

· Functional cookies are cookies that ensure the proper functioning of the Website (e.g. cookies for language preferences) and their installation does not require your permission.
